Johnston, SC - Graveside services for Elder Tony Lee Alford will be at 4:00 pm on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at the Piney Grove Holiness Church, 245 Faulkner Mountain Rd., Edgefield, SC 29824. Pastor Brewer will officiate.

Elder Tony Lee Alford was born on December 26, 1953, in North Carolina. In 1987, Elder Alford heard about a revival in Augusta, GA. After hearing the gospel being preached, he walked out to be baptized and became a member of The Pentecostal Church of God in Johnston, SC. A year later, in 1988, Elder Alford was united in matrimony to Sister Dorothy Jean Padgett-Alford.

Elder Alford was a faithful member and dedicated servant. He served as the president of the YPU Department and as a Bible School teacher. He loved the Lord and God’s people and continued to encourage many, both young and old, on his job and in his neighborhood.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sister Dorothy Jean, in 2003. He leaves behind children: Mongo Wilson, Toni Alford, Gunther Tataina Alford, Latonya Alford, and Naomi Alford; grandchildren and great grands; as well as family, loved ones, and saints. He will truly be missed.
