Trenton, SC- Mr. Harold Jeffery Jackson . He transitioned Saturday June 13, at his residence.
Brother Harold Jeffery Jackson was born April 8, 1955 to the late Elijah Jackson Jr. and Mary Alice Jackson of Johnston, SC. He was beloved and honored by many as a man of strength. He entered holy rest on June 13, 2026.
At an early age he accepted Christ as Lord and Savior of his life and joined Bland Baptist Church. He was united in marriage to Gloria J. Hammond. Together by their union four loving children were born: Jerard, Adrenna, Janeera, and Jamal.
He was the truest example of a family man. Quality family time was very important to him. Many laughs were shared around the tv.
Harold Jackson began his education within the Edgefield County School District. He graduated from Strom Thurmond High School in 1973. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of South Carolina in 1977. While studying for his degree he became a profound member of the Zeta Epsilon Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Upon graduation, he began working as an above average insurance adjuster at Allstate Insurance Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elijah and Mary Alice Jackson and his brother, Elliot R. Jackson.
He leaves to cherish his legacy: his beloved wife, Gloria J. Hammond Jackson, children; Jerard (Vemetrice) Jackson, Adrenna Jackson, Janeera (Codarrio) Butler, and Jamal Muhammad. Grandchildren; Destiny Jackson, Bryanna Muldrow, Kay’mira Jackson, Elijah Jackson, Chase Butler, Ava Butler, and Jabir Muhammad, Siblings; Teresa Davis, Tilatha Moore, Donna Jackson, Carlton (Latosha) Jackson, and Ronnie (Madlyn) Griffin. Extended family of in-laws, Barbara (Henry) Smith and Linda Jackson. A host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and a loving community of family and friends.
