Patricia G Langford

Ms. Patricia Ann Gantt Langford, 75, was born May 8, 1950. She was the daughter of the late James E. Gantt, Sr., and Della Mae Gantt. She departed from life Friday, April 17, 2026, at her home in Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina.

Ms. Langford was a faithful servant of the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina. She joined the church at an early age and through the years was a faithful and dedicated member serving as President of the Program Committee, Vice President of the Mass Choir, member of the Missionary Society, Assistant Secretary of the Singing Convention and member of the Floral Club. She also blessed the kitchen committee with her wonderful pound cakes.

Ms. Langford was educated at Twin City School in Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina. She graduated in 1968. She worked at Hartwell Industries for over 40 years, retiring in 2016. She loved to put together puzzles, sew, crochet and cross stitch, blessing so many people with her gifts for many years.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her two sons, Kevin L. (Pamela) Gantt and Reverend Christopher L. (Nichole) Gantt; nine grandchildren, Roxanne Jackson, Zedrick Abney (Malyn), Devin Gantt, Jordan Gantt, Matthew Gantt, Braydon Gantt, Aaleyah Gantt, Michael Gantt and Maya Gantt; six great-grandchildren, Karmyn Holloway, Karsyn Holloway, Kylee Jackson, Zedrick “Z.J.” Abney, Jr., Gemonie “Monz” Abney and Naor’i Abney; three brothers, James E. Gantt, Jr., Eddie Leon (Norma) Gantt and Jacob F. (Darline) Gantt; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
