Ricky Hill was born July 27, 1974, in North Augusta, SC, Edgefield County. He was the son of Gladys Leola Hill and the late Luther Hill, Jr. He departed this earthly life on April 11, 2023, at Aiken Regional Hospital’s ER at Sweetwater.

He was educated in the Edgefield County School District. He attended Strom Thurmond High School.

He enjoyed fishing and going to the track and playing basketball with friends.

Ricky Lee Hill is preceded in death by his father Luther Hill, Jr and a brother Jack Hill.

Those who will cherish his memories are, his mother, Gladys Leola Hill, North Augusta, SC, sisters, Annie Corley, North Augusta, SC, Sarah Lawver (Steven), Augusta, GA, brothers, Bennie Ray Hill, Middletown, OH, Bobby Lee Hill (Rhonda), Pernanza Hill, David McKie (Minnie), Tommy Key, all of North Augusta, SC, Curtis R. Hill (Shanesa), TX, Eugene Hill (Chenetta), Maryland ,a special cousin he called (Piggy) Nora Jean Morton, aunts, Mae Hill, Betty Williams(Curtis), and Corrie Hill all of Johnston, SC And Frances Hill , Pennsylvania, uncles, Bobby Brown and Albert Hill, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
