Mr. Ricky Darnell Washington was born July 10, 1964, in Edgefield County.

He was the son of Floyd Washington, Sr., and ZulaMae Ellison Washington. He departed this earthly life at his Aiken County residence on October 24, 2025.

Ricky was educated in the Edgefield County School System. He was a 1983 Graduate of the StromThurmond High School. Following school, he explored several forms of employment. He settled as a Truck Driver at one point.

He was loved and will be missed by a Dear Devoted Partner, Ms. Cynthia Key, daughter, Riccayla Darnee Washington Anderson, Johnston, SC, son, Riczaeious Darnell Washington, Edgefield, SC, siblings, Floyd (Marie) Washington, Jr., Johnston, SC, Arthur (Francis) Washington, Aiken, SC, Glennada B. Figueroa, Montgomery, Alabama, Annette (Burry) Pough, Augusta, GA, Johnny K. Washington, Beach Island, SC, Brendhilda Washington, Edgefield, SC, aunts, Mrs, Carolyn Watts, Martin, SC, Mrs. Dorothy Gilchrist, Augusta, GA, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
